BFI are proud to be hosting aQA session with accomplished UK Director Stephen Frears .A journalist returns to her sleepy, postcard-pretty hometown in Dorset, kick-starting a rural rollercoaster of broken hearts and emotional highs in this light-hearted countryside comedy, adapted from Posy Simmonds’ graphic novel. Post nose-job Tamara (Arterton) goes out of her way to disrupt the status quo, stopping the locals in their tracks, even those who weren’t interested when she was younger. Great performances from an array of British talent, especially from Tamsin Greig as the wronged Beth Hardiment.
