An insightful look into the classic age of stop-motion model animation.
This illustrated talk will focus on the golden years of stop-motion model animation with the emphasis on the art of integrating models with live-action film. Beginning in 1895, gaining huge prominence and stature with Willis O'Brien and reaching its peak with the work of the great Ray Harryhausen, whose birthday we celebrate this month, this promises to give an insightful look into this classic age of animation from Dimentional Stop Motion historian Tony Dalton.
