Big Ben (Clock Tower) late at night, Westminster, London
The Clock Tower is the world's largest four-faced, chiming clock. The structure is situated at the north-eastern end of the Houses of Parliament in Westminster, London. It is often colloquially referred to as Big Ben, which is actually the nickname of the main bell housed within the tower (formally known as the Great Bell).The Clock Tower has also been referred to as The Tower of Big Ben and, incorrectly, St Stephen's Tower, which is actually the spired tower towards the middle of the Palace and is also the main point of entry for attendees of debates and committees.

Mighty Meaty Grill at Chiquitos, Leicester square, London
4oz Sirloin steak, half a rack of barbecue, pork ribs, sausage, and two barbecue chicken skewers. Served with spicy onion rings, corn on the cob, fries and freshly made Pico de Gallo.
On Leicester square Chiquitos is a Mexican eatery mainly for young tourists.

Liberty of London - China Design Now exhibition, London
China Design Now at Liberty - a showcase of contemporary Chinese design throughout the store in collaboration with the V&A's Spring exhibition.
March 2008 sees an explosion of young, contemporary and innovative Chinese design at Liberty as the store embarks upon a collaboration with the V&A for their much anticipated Spring exhibition – China Design Now.
Liberty will pay homage to all things modern across Chinese fashion, art, photography, interiors and design with a wealth of product and installations throughout the store.
Highlights include
• Acclaimed artist Michael Wolf's: 'The Real Toy Story' in windows and on 4th floor, and his Chinese architecture photography collection 'Architectures of Density' on the 4th floor.

Setting up the Farmers Market , St. George Wharf, London
This morning on my way to work I pased by the Farmers market they have in the apartment block once a month.
A monthly farmers market makes a regular appearance on the third Thursday of every month and has proven popular with residents, office workers and the local community alike. The award winning market, already a firm favourite of Hammersmith Town Centre, Dulwich College and West Norwood is set to continue in to 2008 bringing a wide selection of fresh, organic and seasonal produce to SW8.

Spotted this billboard poster for Iron Man this morning. I wonder if the film will deliver on the promises.

Banksy One Nation Under CCTV, Off Oxford Street, London
One Nation Under CCTV" is painted on a wall in central London, which seems to be the CCTV camera capital of the world. It shows a young boy up a ladder painting the words, with a security guard and a dog on the ground watching him. To the right of the painting is an actual CCTV camera.
"Here's what the Daily Mail is saying about the new Banksy work.. "Banksy pulled off an audacious stunt to produce what is believed to be his biggest work yet in central London. The secretive graffiti artist managed to erect three storeys of scaffolding behind a security fence despite being watched by a CCTV camera." Daily Mail

10 Best film hitmen
Recently the times compiled a list of the 10 best film assassins or hit men/women.
From The Jackal to Nikita, the screen loves a deadly assassin. Kevin Maher gets the Top Ten movie hitmen in his sights.
It’s not the most obvious profession. Yet when the heroes of the new comedy thriller In Bruges – Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) – are introduced as hitmen we accept this completely. They go about their business, hiding out in the titular Belgian town after a botched kill. They drink beer, joke and meet women. And then, eventually, Ralph Fiennes arrives as Harry, the hitman-in-chief. And still, we never once say, ‘Hang on! How many hitmen are there in the world?’ This is because movies are so en-amoured by hitmen that, somehow, we are too. We love their deadly authority and their glamour, In short, we love the thrill of power.

Hit man Philip Raven, who's kind to children and cats, kills a blackmailer and is paid off by traitor Willard Gates in "hot" money. Meanwhile, pert entertainer Ellen Graham, girlfriend of police Lieut. Crane (who's after Raven) is enlisted by a Senate committee to help investigate Gates. Raven, seeking Gates for revenge, meets Ellen on the train; their relationship gradually evolves from that of killer and potential victim to an uneasy alliance against a common enemy. He lives with his favorite plant in a small apartment in the city next door to a girl he occasionally speaks to whose father is a drug dealer working with crooked DEA officers. One day when she's out getting groceries the crooked agents murder her entire family in a botched drug deal and upon discovering the massacre upon her return home she walks to the end of the hall to Leon's apartment who let's her into not only his home, but into his life as well. Soon enough he's teaching Mathilda, a young girl, how to be a professional hitman in order for her to learn enough to get revenge on the crooked cops who murdered her family. But when she goes in for revenge and is captured by the crooked agents, Leon comes and saves her and so begins the ultimate theme in the movie: Will Leon and Mathilda live happily ever after now that's she's opened up his heart, or will the crooked cops have something to say about it? It is the early 60s in France. The remaining survivors of the aborted French Foreign Legion have made repeated attempts to kill DeGaulle. The result is that he is the most closely guarded man in the world. As a desperate act, they hire The Jackal, the code name for a hired killer who agrees to kill French President De Gaulle for half a million dollars. We watch his preparations which are so thorough we wonder how he could possibly fail even as we watch the French police attempt to pick up his trail. The situation is historically accurate. It’s not the most obvious profession. Yet when the heroes of the new comedy thriller In Bruges – Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) – are introduced as hitmen we accept this completely. They go about their business, hiding out in the titular Belgian town after a botched kill. They drink beer, joke and meet women. And then, eventually, Ralph Fiennes arrives as Harry, the hitman-in-chief. And still, we never once say, ‘Hang on! How many hitmen are there in the world?’ This is because movies are so en-amoured by hitmen that, somehow, we are too. Interesting office front display, Clerkenwell, London
During lunch today walked past this office with an intresting window front.
Rather than glaze the window or use a stick on texture they are using a projector to create an effect that the window had a texture to it. This allowed them to create moving imagery across the window.
